As I lay in the tent I could feel the morning sun starting to heat up, so I figured that it was time to get the day started. After a wonderful breakfast of cocoa crispies I met Anna to go explore some beaches on the far side of the island. Now I had to break two of my cardinal rules of motorcycling, one never ride a passenger wearing a cute little short skirt( that didn’t sound right what I meant to say was never let a passenger ride who is wearing a cute little short skirt) and two always wear a helmet. But every now and again you have to make exceptions to the rules, luckily all ended well. We found a great beach after passing up our first destination which was full of tourists. After spending several hours laying on the beach we had to head back since she had to be at work by 5:00.

The rest of the day was quite nice as well, I spent it drinking a margarita in a nice little beach side bar then headed into town to get a Greek Gyro for dinner though a little later it did battle with stomach giving me fears of return of the ninja (sounds like a movie) but it the end my stomach was alright, just giving me a reminder that maybe I wasn’t 100% yet. The town center is quite touristy but still very nice and worth seeing if only for a little while.

All in All today was quite nice and definitely better than a day at work.

This morning I said goodbye to Charne and Michelle as they were moving on and heading towards Macadonia. They had to catch an early ferry so they were up nice and early at 6ish so I said my goodbyes rather sleepilyish then crawled back into the warm recesses of my tent for a few more hours of sleep. When I managed to poke my head out again I noticed the sky had clouded up and It looked like it was going rain. Conviently it hadn’t rained but two whole days in two months, so you can imagine my surprise when it starts to rain after me being here just a few days, not I think I am carrying a fucking rain cloud in my gear, absolutely amazing.

Well after breakfast I met up with Anna who had the day off, we spent the day exploring the town a little more and hiding out from the rain.

This morning I decided I had better catch the ferry Italy tonight since I had 5 days till have to be in France. So after drying out the tent and all my gear under an awning at the campground (yep it is still raining) I packed up all stuff. I headed off to say goodbye to Anna, well somehow she convinced me to stay another night, she must have somehow found a weakness in my impenetrable willpower. So she headed off to work and I headed off to an internet café to surf the net and pass some time till we met up once she got off work.
