England/Wales
I took the ferry from Dublin to Wales and was quite surprised to find the scenery as beautiful as Ireland but the unfortunately it seemed 10 times more populated. The castles were amazing and quickly brought daydreams of generations long past of knights and kings and bad guys. I would recommend visiting Wales but get off the main roads and drive the back roads, you will spend allot of time opening sheep gates but it is worth it to get off the beaten path. With that said I got tired of opening gates and closing gates so I went for some more main roads after a day of that.
If you look at a road map of England you swill what looks like spaghetti with roads heading in every direction, the population of England is quite large for the size of the little island. So getting places is quite easy but dont expect to find a place to be alone like in Ireland.
I spent a couple days in London and quite enjoyed it, it is easy to walk around in London but I quite enjoyed seeing it by bicycle. I was able to see all the tourist sites in a single afternoon, though at times you kinda half to ignore the no bicycle signs, but nobody said anything to me or even gave me a second look.
If I thought Ireland was expensive England was even more so, damn British with their almighty pound.
I think the British are not rude but more abrasive but with that said I had more offers for places to stay in one week than I did in 3 weeks in Ireland. So this leads me to think that they really arent that rude or they are more open to travelers than Ireland.
The weather is really the same as Ireland, rainy and cloudy most of the time.
