This morning while packing up camp I realized I had no clean clothes, I mean none. I mean even the under had been worn twice, first the right way then even inside out, just kidding I swear.
So first on the agenda was to find a laundry mat to do my clothes before heading to Dublin for the night. Well if you are ever in Ireland it is probably cheaper to buy new clothes than it is take them to the laundry mat. First I stopped in two different towns, fairly large ones and they didnt even have self serve laundry mats but they would wash one load for 13 euros, I decided I could wear my underwear twice for that amount. On the third town I found a place that had a self serve laundry mat for 9 euros, I would still wear my underwear twice for much. I decided I would find something in Dublin so off I headed.
I made it Dublin in short time and I even found a hostel in the Temple Bar area for 20 euros including parking for my bike (that is a very good deal in Dublin). The hostel had laundry service for 5 euros so I finally had clean clothes.
After grabbing some dinner I headed out to meet up with some two groups of Americans I had met earlier in the day. I hindsight I think I was totally hogging the conversation, I guess I was so happy to have people to talk to that I monopolized the conversation. Well they seemed like they were interested in listening to me talk, after spending so many hours on a bike one becomes quite excited to have other people to talk to or more like people to listen to me talk. After the first group decided it was time to turn I wandered around and bumped into the second group of Americans. We ended up sitting in a Pub till almost 3 oclock in the morning talking, it was quite enjoyable. After the barkeep kicked us out it was back to the hostel for some sleep. At about 4:30 am a Russian couple stumbled into the room and managed to keep me awake for quite awhile before I could fall asleep.

The plan for today was to bum around Dublin till 4:00 when I was going to meet a friend and go see Riverdance. Now I know what you are thinking Riverdance? How touristy is that Mr. Antitourist Guy. Well for the record I have seen Riverdance 3 times in California so this will be my 4th. I decide I would head to an internet café to update my website and catch up on world affairs after a couple hours in an internet café I got swindled, 18 euros for using the internet, damn I should have read the fine print, stupid stupid Josh. After grumpily leaving the café I grabbed a sandwich from a market and headed to the park and people watch and enjoy the semi-sunny afternoon, at least that will be free.
My left eye is hurting a little today and is a little swollen. My allergies have been really bad since I have been in Ireland and I have been rubbing my itchy eyes for the last couple weeks. I will have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt get worse, no pun intended.
After meeting up with my friend we headed off to Riverdance. WOW, what a great show, even after the 4th time I am still in awe of what a great show it is. The show was in a very small theatre and we were in the 4th row so we were practically on the stage. There are parts of the show where the musicians do solo instrumentals, I would close my eyes and be taken back through the last three weeks of the places I had been in Ireland. It is pretty amazing how music can conjure up images and memories that will be with me forever. I decided, well I actually think this every time I see this show, that I want to marry an Irish tap dancer, I love those girls. During the show I think one of them was looking at me digging my vibe or she might have been just trying to get a good look so when she files the restraining order she can clearly identify me, either way we had a moment.
I can not imagine a better ending to 3 weeks in Ireland.
Well after 3 weeks and over 2000 miles of Ireland tomorrow I head off for Wales then on to France and Spain for this bull running event.

After a short ferry ride from Dublin to Holyhead I was once again on the road. I will say the ferries here more resemble a cruise ship than ferries, I wondered if they would notice if I just hung out on board for a few days.
Once on the road I headed off to explore Wales and hopefully see some castles and good scenery. I couldnt have asked for a better day with temperatures in the 80s and blue skies, this was a nice change to the last week of semi-cloudy weather in Ireland.
Wales isnt a very big country and seemed to be very populated it was much harder to find some small roads that didnt have some traffic on them. Though after a couple hours of searching I came across this great road that doubled as a bicyclist trail/hiking road. I came across some beautiful scenery before finding the perfect campsite. It was only 7:00 when I decided to set up camp but I couldnt pass this campsite up. I covered 140 miles today but when I looked at the GPS I really hadnt traveled more than 40 or 50 miles from the dock.
