5/32/05 oopss I mean 6/1/05
Waking up promptly at 6:00 with only 3 ½ hours of sleep I was ready for the road. When I got into Toronto about 11:00 I thought maybe I should have written down address of the shipping company. So after figuring it out with the help of friendly Canadian off I went to the airport. Once at the shipping companys office Hassan informed me that I need to clean the bike spotlessly and then gave me the location of carwash. The little lady was sparkling after an hour of scrubbing, I didnt realize how dirty she had gotten over the last 5,800 miles, I promised her I would pay more attention to her cleanliness in Europe. After disconnecting my new battery and removing the windscreen so she would fit in the crate it was time to say goodbye to her for a few days. Dont worry Josh you will see her in Ireland, I know but I will miss her till then. Only after threatening Hassan, you know the shipping guy, that he would have to house me did he finally call me a cab to get me to my Hostel. Once I checked in and got all my bags up to my 4th floor suite, well not so much a suite as a dirty room shared with two other people, I went out to explore Toronto. I found the main street called Queen Street where I grabbed some dinner and wandered around for an hour or so before I realized how exhausted I was so back to the Hostel for some sleep before hitting the nightlife of Toronto. One of the Irish guys at the Hostel told me the best club in town was two doors down and they were playing retro music tonight. After a 3 hour nap I decided to check out the Retro night, he wasnt kidding it turned out to be packed but I never heard of 50s and 60s music reffered to as Retro and I have never seen so many hot girls dancing 50s music, So some times you have to look at yourself in the mirror and say when in Rome.
