I have to group these days all together because hanging out with an unemployed sailor and an alcoholic Jewish Lawyer there was a whole lot of boozing lounging around. I cant say we really saw much historical, well that is not true we did follow a “Duck” tour bus a while and listen to the tour guide of the area’s history. Fisher did manage to take us to the MFA, this famous museum place, where they had Ralph Laurens car collection on display. It was an amazing collection of old Bugatis, Ferraris, Mercedes, and the final car was a 1996 McLaren F1(steering wheel in the center). My personal favorite was an old Merecedes Gullwing which looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor. After the museum we went to Newbury Street for some lunch and general female perving. Newbury Street is a must when in Boston a bunch of good outdoor restaurants (unless your Fisher then there are no good restaurants on this street) even more beautiful women to perv on and even more exotic cars. In the couple hours we sat there we saw over 10 Ferraris, a Lamorghini Gallardo, and several other exotics, this town definitely has some cash. On another excursion of we did drive buy MIT and Harvard to nerd watch, I will tell you I actually think I got smarter just driving buy all those smart people, hhhmmm maybe some sort of intelligence osmosis (for those of you who don’t know what osmosis is it is the transferring of molecules from a high concentration to a lower concentration, so what you are saying Josh is the smart kids transferred their smart molecules to you, wait isn’t osmosis through water, shit OK maybe I only thought I felt smarter, anyways I digress so back to the story).

Unfortunately one morning, or was it two (like I said lots of drinking), I did find myself waking up in what only can be described as a hippy commune. So while waiting for my ride to show up I participated in some yoga and looking at some shiny rocks, my sister would have been right at home in this place.

Boston’s utilities are currently on strike and my Fisher who not only is a card carrying union member (merchant mariners union, but still a union) comes from long linage of Union Brothers, so when we happened upon a group of “Scab” workers Fisher was immediately on the phone calling it in. To who we were not sure but this guy really knows everyone in town so I sure it was someone important in the brotherhood.

So one of the best things about Boston are the people, Bostonians are very straightforward and they have a great accent which allows them to slip the word “fuck” in-between every sentence. Though there isn’t nearly the diversity of other major cities there was still allot of history and culture. On cities I have been to it seemed the most similar to San Francisco, just a more white and non-gay.
